What we collect, and why
Pip Foundry is Nathan Chung and Evan Kong. This page is short on purpose. If something is unclear, write to hello@pipfoundry.com.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles as they apply to a small agency. We collect only what we need to reply, do the work, and (on a few private demo pages) see whether those pages are useful.
If you write to us or book an AI audit
We keep the contact details you send: usually a name, email, the organisation you work for, and whatever you tell us in the message or when we speak. We use that to reply and, if we work together, to do the work. We do not buy mailing lists.
If you apply for a spec ad
The application on /spec-ad asks for your website, a few answers about your ads, your name, role, email and mobile number. We use them to call, text and email you about your spec ad, and to make it. Your answers are saved to our client list in Notion, and a short alert with your name, number and answers is sent to our phones through a notification service (ntfy or Telegram). Reply STOP to any text, or tell us on the call, and we stop contacting you.
If you open a private demo page under /notes
Those pages are for a named prospect. They are not listed on the public site. On those pages we record, using PostHog:
- that the page was visited, and roughly how long it stayed open
- how far the page was scrolled
- which links were clicked
- questions asked to the AI assistant, and whether it returned an answer
We use that to improve the page. We do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not sell it.
AI questions
Questions typed into the assistant on a /notes page are sent to Google Cloud Vertex AI so it can draft an answer from that page's source files. That processing may happen outside Australia. The assistant is instructed to read only the files on that page. Do not type passwords, health records, or anyone else's personal information into it.
Cookies
The public pages do not use an analytics cookie. The /notes pages use PostHog, which sets a cookie so repeat visits from the same browser can be tied together. A separate login cookie on those pages only keeps you signed in.
How long we keep it
Emails and booking details: while we might reasonably need them to reply or do the work, then we delete them. Demo-page analytics: while they still help us improve those pages, then we delete them. Ask and we will delete what we hold about you sooner.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not run ads on this site. Tools we use (email, the booking page, Notion, our phone notification service, PostHog, Google Cloud) see what they need to provide their service, and nothing more from us on top of that.
Access, correction, complaints
Email hello@pipfoundry.com. We will say what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
